It is part of Deloitte's Global Delivery Network. We are establishing the Centre to primarily support Deloitte Australia with delivering high-demand technical packages of work to clients.The Centre will focus on early career workers and workers with digital skills, providing them with coaching and training opportunities that enable them to provide technology-driven solutions to our national client base. We will also be supporting our workforce with certifications, courses and engagement experiences to help them gain skills on specific high-demand tech solutions relevant to technologies and business processes we support for our clients.The Centre will also work closely with La Trobe University to provide work-based learning opportunities and practical input into courses that accelerate employment outcomes for students, and potential employees of the Centre.Reporting to the National Delivery Centre Leader, this role will be responsible for leading the strategic outlook and the day-day operations for the Digital Operations Centre.Roles and ResponsibilitiesRoles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to), the following: Develop and maintain the service catalogue and offerings available through the Centre Lead the strategic plan for the progressive development of the Centre over the next 3-5 years including strategic workforce plan and scaling of the Centre to support ~250 FTE Manage the day-day operations of the Centre including utilisation, personnel management, performance management, financial reporting and all facets of operations relevant to the Centre Be the primary interface for engaging with the leaders of Offerings that the Centre supports Lead engagement with the tertiary education institutions, especially La Trobe University, and alliance partners to support development of curriculum, certifications and a talent pathway into the Centre Build a local presence and be the ambassador for Deloitte in the Bendigo region Enough about us, let's talk about you. You are someone with: 8-10+ years of relevant experience of leading large-scale IT operations and / or delivery centres. Proven experience in managing and implementation of operational processes and infrastructure improvements. Strong experience in performing financial analyses and operations management to provide findings, conclusions, and recommendations to enhance understanding of key business drivers and performance. Tech Savvy aptitude to identify opportunities for improvement through digital, data, and design. Hands on experience in regular reporting and analysis - presenting insights, recommendations, risks, issues, and mitigations to Exec Levels. Leadership experience of managing and developing talent.
