Our client is a large-scale Commercial Construction business with a national reach. Their projects span across government, corporate, retail, and a variety of others.
Due to continual growth and the aim to centralise and refine the bids / tenders process, they have an need for an experienced Bid Coordinator to join their well-oiled team as the central glue across all internal departments to put together these project winning tenders. This role will suit someone who is looking for a long-term move into a company where they will become part of a vibrant and supportive team who are all passionate about the built environment.
The role will see you working across;
- Coordinate the production of tender submissions including the complete revamp of templates and documentation in line with company branding
- Complete coordination of tasks and tender workbooks for all bid submissions and presentations
- Content writing for the wider business
- Assist Estimators / Directors in putting together Tender Presentations using Power Point & InDesign
- Maintaining the company CRM system to in-turn ensure a better marketing reach for materials across leads, opportunities etc
- Follow up clients on submissions, ensure feedback from clients is recorded and ensure improvements & suggestions are implemented in future submissions
- Exposure to wider marketing tasks such as website and social media management, networking events & creation of marketing collateral. Work across a brand refresh project and many more!
To be considered for the role of Bid Coordinator, you will also possess;
- Must have recent experience working as a Bid Coordinator ideally in the construction industry (early career experience is highly regarded as you will receive hands on training and mentorship in this role)
- Tertiary qualifications in either communications, journalism or a marketing related discipline
- Experienced user of Adobe Suite and / or Canva and advanced user of Microsoft packages is preferred
- High attention to detail is essential
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- The ability to work autonomously as well as within a team
- Proven ability to exercise initiative and judgement
- You will possess a keen & eager personality to build your career. The right attitude in this role is more highly regarded than your prior experience!
The successful candidate will receive a remuneration package of upwards of $100-120k+superannuation.
