About the role…

This position is based in Port Macquarie for domestic and Light Commercial air conditioning systems. Your role will be focused on:

• Quoting installation of new or replacement domestic split, ducted, and cassette systems,
• Estimating/quoting on Light Commercial projects including VRV/VRF & package units,
• Preparation & supervision of site works,
• Assist with scheduling & managing staff, contractors, equipment & materials to site,
• Assist with service jobs & quoting of such, including setting up service/maintenance requirements,
• Day to day office support, sales & stock control, 
• You will require a sound knowledge & understanding of technical/engineering drawings & specifications,
• You will be communicating with builders, equipment suppliers & clients,
• Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, with a specific eye for detail,
• Excellent organisational, written, verbal communication and customer facing skills,
• Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook.

Ideal candidate…

• At lease 3 years working experience in a similar role,
• Trade or industry background or experience working in a similar role for air conditioning, mechanical, electrical contractor or electrician,
• Ability to work well within a team,
• Good communication skills,
• Strong commitment and understanding of work safe protocols & principles,
• Good presentation and communication skills,
• Great problem-solving abilities,
• Excellent time management skills,
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Preferable trade certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, diploma or degree,
• Preferable holding currency with an NSW Fair Trading Contractor or Supervisors licence in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration,
• NSW Drivers Licence (or equivalent, preferable ability to drive a manual vehicle),
• NSW General Construction Industry Induction (White Card),
• Australian citizenship and residency.
