Compnay Background:

Our client are a reputable commercial cleaning company based in Sydney, with a strong commitment to providing top-notch cleaning services to their clients. They are seeking a skilled Bid Writer/Estimator to join their team to help secure exciting new contracts and tenders across the country.

Position Overview:

As a Bid Writer, you will play a crucial role in our business development efforts by crafting compelling proposals and bids to win contracts for commercial cleaning services. You will work closely with our sales and operations teams to understand client requirements, develop tailored proposals, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Researching potential clients and understanding their cleaning needs and specifications.
• Collaborating with internal teams to gather relevant information and insights for bid development.
• Writing clear, concise, and persuasive proposals that address client requirements and highlight our strengths.
• Tailoring bid responses to showcase our capabilities, experience, and value proposition effectively.
• Ensuring that all bid submissions are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with client guidelines.
• Managing the bid process from start to finish, including coordination with stakeholders and tracking of submission deadlines.
• Conducting post-bid analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize future bid strategies.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bid writing, preferably within the commercial cleaning industry or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and compelling manner.
• Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in document preparation and proofreading.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with bid management software is a plus.
