(Check the benefits section to see some more)Your new roleAs a Bid Writer you are a passionate and well organised individual. You will be working closely with the Bid Managers to assist in the preparation, management, and submission of high quality bids and proposals. This role is crucial to the success of the Business Development team to win new business and retain existing clients.Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Support the Bid team to coordinate, and input tailored content ensuring key themes are addressed
- Undertake quality reviews, including expert formatting in Word, utilising your meticulous proofreading skills
- Coordinate the drafting and review process to ensure tender time frames are met with a high standard of quality
- Support the Bid Managers to draft high-quality tender content that meets the criterion of the bid, puts the client at the heart of the proposal and is of a “best practice” standard.
- Assist with general bid administration tasks including formatting bid material, maintaining templates and document control, and building an accurate library to support the tender process.
- Monitoring time lines and deadlines to ensure that bid submissions are completed and delivered in a timely manner.
- Any other administrative tasks as requested that contribute to the smooth operation of our team.
- Experience in a B2B sales environment, preferably within financial services or a mid-tier organisation is ideal but not essential.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Degree qualification with a business or journalism major, or relevant experience in a similar role
- Confidence and experience with Microsoft Office 360 products - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint are essential
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple activities whilst maintaining composure
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Sales force is desirable but not essential
