Working as a Bid Writer at Quickway is exciting

Quickway has been delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW for the past 17 years. We specialise in Roads & Bridges, Concrete Structures, Tunnels, Rail, Communications, Electrical, Water and Traffic Management. We have been working directly for Transport NSW for the past 6 years, from remote areas to major urban projects. 

About the Role:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented Bid Writer to join our team in Silverwater. Day to day you will work closely with the Tendering Team creating and developing responses to EOI’s (i.e., Proposals) and RFT’s (i.e., Tenders), and other supporting materials required for bidding on projects. This may involve supporting the creation of visually appealing layouts, incorporating graphics and images, and ensuring the overall professionalism and consistency of the documents. You will be able to maintain effective communication with colleagues within the tender’s team, collaborating on tender submissions and sharing updates on project progress. You will Communicate with senior management to provide updates on tender activities and seek approval for proposals. Interact with clients to clarify requirements and address queries as needed. 

What you will bring: 

• Relevant degree qualification in English, Marketing & Communications, or related field
• Must have at least 3 years' experience bid writing for EOI and Tender submissions, and/or marketing content 
• Must have at least 3 years' experience bid writing for tender submissions, and/or marketing content (for website, social media platforms & blogs)
• You will need to be Proficient in Adobe InDesign or similar software including Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, including time management skills are essential for this role
