About the role
Red Cross Program and CALD communities are in need of 3 new Bilingual Health Educators: Arabic, Dari and Vietnamese.
The Health in My Language project provides health information to women and men from migrant and refugee communities across Australia. The project will specifically target awareness of Cancer Screening specifically for Breast, Cervical and Bowel cancers.
What you will bringFluency in English and either: Arabic, Dari or Vietnamese
Good level of computer skills, emails, Outlook and PowerPoint
Experience in working with linguistically diverse people and communities from different cultures and backgrounds
Willingness to travel within South Australia
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to present information in a clear, comprehensive format

This role is covered by the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award - Level 3. Salary from $71,155.76 FTE + superannuation + access to salary packaging.
