- An Associate Diploma or higher in Biomedical/Info-System/ Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution and acceptable for associate membership or higher of the Institute of Engineers Australia.
- Knowledge of Australian Standards and practical experience in the implementation of AS3551 for purposes of equipment testing and verifications in conjunction with other relevant medical standards.
- A current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence (P2 Licence acceptable) or subject to obtaining NSW driver's licence within 3 months of appointment.
