What is Body Fit Training? 

Body Fit Training is Australia's newest and most advanced group training methodology. Since April 2018, there has been 270 studios opened across Australia, NZ, Singapore, Europe and the US.  We've incorporated scientifically proven, progressive training techniques aimed at reducing fat and creating lean muscle in a variety of 50-minute training sessions. Our accredited coaches work with the members in a fun, welcoming and energetic environment.

High levels of visual content showcasing our programs are shown on multiple digital displays throughout the studio and allow our trainers to spend more time concentrating on our members, while the screens direct the traffic! Our cutting-edge, globally superior technology together with our 4-6 week progressive training blocks with unique strength and conditioning elements to complement our extensive cardio workouts makes us both different, and better.

About the role

We are a young and growing BFT studio in Hallam looking for a Studio Manager to join our team that will help continue to drive and grow our community.

We want our club to hold the best coaching standards which provides an environment where members can achieve their fitness goals in a safe, welcoming and fun environment, whether that be to start off the day fresh with a HIIT session or finish the day strong with a Strength class. This role is not for the faint hearted and requires a high energy individual who has a burning drive and passion to not just be in the fitness industry but to make a difference in our members lives and educate them for the future.  

As the Studio Manager the role will involve the day to day operations of the studio as well as driving the growth of the studio with new members and retention of existing members.  

In return for your skills, passion and commitment there would be significant incentives built in to your salary package based on studio performance.

Previous experience in studio/gym management is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities 

• Manage the daily operations of the studio 
• Targeted membership acquisition through lead generation, calls, emails, face to face and networking with current and future potential business partners 
• Marketing plans that demonstrate key actions on how to generate new memberships, highlight community and engage current and future members 
• Key Performance Indicators such as Member acquisition, Member retention, Member satisfaction and Culture 
• Deliver high-quality group training classes to clients on a daily basis through on hand coaching and dynamic approaches 
• Lead a team of passionate fitness professionals to create a fun, innovative and high performing workplace
• Develop and lead the team to perform at a high standard 
• Business planning such as 8 week challenges, festive events, community based events and membership events 
• Effectively managing and responding to all correspondence with memberships, general enquiries as well as current and potential business partners 
• Leading and conducting team meetings which may involve upskilling, team building and continuous improvement 
• Providing a stable and structured roster for our staff and members 

Skills and experience 

• High proficiency in sales 
• High proficiency in management within the gym/fitness environment is highly desirable 
• Strong Leadership skills 
• Effective time management and organisational skills 
• High Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Group Training and / or Personal Training
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Proficiency in Social Media is essential 
• Certificate IV in Personal Training or Certificate III in Group Fitness. 
• Current senior First Aid and CPR
