Position Requirements
- Trade experience with a minimum of at least 3 years
- Must have own tools of the trade, all specialised tools are provided for use
- Experience with sheet metal work would be an advantage
- Must understand how to read engineering drawings
- Understanding of and commitment to OH&S and QA policies and procedures
- Forklift License (Advantageous)
- Australian Residency (Essential)
Qualifications Required
- Qualified Boilermaker
Primary Responsibilities Include
- Build from drawings without direct supervision
- Perform MIG, TIG, oxy-acetylene, stick and spot welding
- Oxyacetylene, heating and cutting
- Operate equipment such as drills, grinding machines, saws, rollers, presses, guillotines and plate rollers
- Operate electrical and pneumatic power tools such as grinders, drills, sanders, etc
- Operate lifting equipment including overhead crane, pillar crane, KBK crane, electric hoist, block and tackle, chains, hooks and slings up to 5,000kg.
- Commitment to continuous improvement in producing high quality products
- Liaise with senior members of the team to achieve on-time delivery
- Achieve section KPIs and positively contribute to achievement of factory performance KPIs
- Ensure Company policies and procedures are followed

- Ability to work with minimum supervision, and have a keen eye as to the detail of finished products
- Works effectively both within a team or individually
- Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong work ethic and pride in workmanship
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver a quality product
- At times being able to travel if required.
