South Coast Radiology is on the lookout for a Booking Agent to join our team at Varsity Lakes.
Working in a fast-paced environment that develops growth, collaboration, and innovation, you will be responsible for providing a superior service that delivers excellence in diagnostic imaging to our valued patients and referring doctors.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the voice of the organisation, and often the first point of contact for many patients and referrers, this very busy and rewarding role will see you scheduling and managing of patient appointments and facilitating the pre-admission assessment process across all modalities including CT, Xray, Ultrasound, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine (Including PET) for all sites.
Part-time and Full-time opportunities available. Working hours are between 7.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday (no weekend or nights!)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Answering telephone calls in a courteous, professional, and sensitive manner.
- Scheduling appointments for our patients using our state-of-the-art RIS system - Karisma.
- Managing appointments to maximise clinic efficiencies.
- Quoting relevant fees and Medicare rebates to patients
- Informing our patients of preparation requirements prior to their visit
TO BE CONSIDER FOR OUR BOOKINGS TEAM:
- Experience in a customer focused role highly desirable
- Detailed understanding of medical imaging terminology or willingness to learn.
- Demonstrated computer software and keyboard skills essential.
- Excellence in customer service delivery in order to exceed patient and referrer expectations.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to show patients care, compassion, and empathy.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively optimise allocated appointment slots.
- Strong attention to detail and focus on completing high quality work.
- An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with ability to meet KPI's.
- A "can do" attitude that builds rapport with patients, staff, and professionals easily.
