Fremantle Early Learning Centre is looking for an experienced and qualified Bookkeeper, to join our incredible team, working part time, approx 10 hours per week.

Key accountabilities of this position will include:
- Accounts payable and receivable
- BAS calculation and processing
- Payroll calculation, processing, and superannuation compliance
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliation
- Reconciliation of creditor and debtor ledgers
- Processing journal entries
- Monthly reporting on cashflow
To be successful for this position, the ideal candidate would have the following essential criteria:
- A certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, or similar (or studying)
- Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with proven capability in accounts payable & receivable, payroll (payment summaries, leave entitlement calculations, superannuation), reconciliations, reporting and BAS
- Demonstrated competency in MYOB, Smart Central and Story Park
- Previous administrative experience, desirably in an Early Learning Centre
- Proven knowledge of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and processes to assist families with payment of fees
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis in Excel
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes.
