National Waterproofing provide a wide range of commercial waterproofing and epoxy flooring. Based in the Moorabbin we are looking for a part-time (3 days a week) experienced Bookkeeper and general administration to join our friendly contracting team.
The successful applicant will have worked for a contracting company & demonstrate a strong work ethic and high level of professionalism.
You will be responsible for assisting with accurate and timely processing of accounts payable and receivable functions along with weekly payroll (Thursday), IAS, BAS, Super and Payroll Tax preparation, invoicing, reporting and general administration.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Weekly Payroll processing 20+ staff (knowledge of the Construction EBA’s would be advantageous).
- Accounting and bookkeeping services.
- Bank Reconciliations & End of Month accounting process.
- BAS and PAYG preparation & lodgement.
- Lodge and pay Monthly Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Industry funds.
- Accounts payable/ receivable.
- Retention record keeping.
- End of financial year tax requirements.
- General Admin Duties.
Requirements:
- Proficient in Computer package including SIMPRO, MS Office, Excel, Reckon
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a bookkeeper role or similar.
- Accounting / Finance qualifications.
- Experience within the trades and construction industry.
- Strong Accounts/Payroll experience.
- Excellent time management & communication skills.
- High accuracy of data entry and data management
- Attention to detail with solid organisational skills and capabilities in terms of prioritising work and meeting deadlines.
- Works well autonomously as well as in a team environment. .
