We are wholesale and distribution company based in Naval Base and supply all major trade and retail outlets with a large range of products.
The Position:
This role will require an organized and proactive individual handling all day-to-day accounting and administration. The candidate will be a qualified bookkeeper with several years in a similar position in a small to medium sized enterprise. The person will be accountable for the full data entries and management of our accounting system (Arrows) with a large component of Paper handling and filing
This is a permanent position (3 to 4 days/week, 60 to 80%) for a professional looking to participate within an exciting and dynamic business.
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the overall accounting function including the administration and systems of the business, including (but not limited to):
- Warehousing invoices / Freight on charging , Monthly commission invoices ,Weekly Warehousing charges
- All Finance and Administration tasks and projects
- Accounts Receivable & Payable
- Full Process of Payroll & PAYGW
- End of Month
- BAS statements
Skills and Requirements
- Your background must have equipped you with both day-to-day accounting management along with financial and management accounting skills beyond just the production of monthly accounts
Personal Attributes
- Be a team player that actively participates
- Well organized to meet monthly deadlines with statutory filings dates etc to be met
- Computer skills to enable successful operation of accounting and other systems
- Well developed verbal & written communication skills
- Strong analytical capability
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
