Bookkeeper

About the role:

You will be responsible for a range of duties including: Due to growth, the position of  an experienced Bookkeeper has become available. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience working as a bookkeeper with an accounting firm and wants to develop their skills with the opportunity to do business development as well.

• Processing transactions 
• Performing bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable, accounts receivable duties and other financial reconciliations
• Review Xero information
• Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
• Coordinating allocated jobs and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
• Managing bank accounts / facilitating payment
• Processing payrolls
• Ad-hoc administrative duties

About you:

You are an experienced Bookkeeper who possesses the following:

• Exposure to various software's (MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks)
• Ability to deal with a broad range of clients directly
• Up to date with bookkeeping courses
• Knowledgeable with new products (system implementation)
• Great attention to detail
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Good time management with the ability to prioritise your workload
• Strong Excel skills
• Accounting background advantageous / Bookkeeping certificates
