About the role:
You will be responsible for a range of duties including: Due to growth, the position of an experienced Bookkeeper has become available. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience working as a bookkeeper with an accounting firm and wants to develop their skills with the opportunity to do business development as well.
- Processing transactions
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable duties and other financial reconciliations
- Review Xero information
- Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS)
- Coordinating allocated jobs and maintaining Excel spreadsheets
- Managing bank accounts / facilitating payment
- Processing payrolls
- Ad-hoc administrative duties
About you:
You are an experienced Bookkeeper who possesses the following:
- Exposure to various software's (MYOB, Xero, Quickbooks)
- Ability to deal with a broad range of clients directly
- Up to date with bookkeeping courses
- Knowledgeable with new products (system implementation)
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Good time management with the ability to prioritise your workload
- Strong Excel skills
- Accounting background advantageous / Bookkeeping certificates
