The Role:
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper/Accounts officer to join the Arnhem team. You must be self-driven, highly organised and confident in all aspects of bookkeeping including payroll. This is a part time role offering 2-3 days a week based in house at our head office in Byron Bay.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Bank Reconciliations
- Weekly payroll
- Accounts payable/receivable
- International payments
- Sales reconciliations
- Monthly journal entries and reports
- Cashflow management and reporting
- Manage superannuation payments
- HR responsibilities including work cover declarations
Desired skills and expertise:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Experience in XERO is essential
- Experience in Shopify and CIN7 highly desirable
- High level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Highly proficient in Microsoft programs especially Excel
- Be a quick learner and forward-looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions to problems.
