Overview
Little Snappers Holdings is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to fill the role of Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. This is a permanent part-time role for 15-20 hours per week with flexible days and hours and room to grow with the company. Please note this is not a work-from-home role; the headquarters is in Currumbin Waters. Some hours can be flexible for remote work, but the majority will be in the office.

Position Summary:
The main purpose of this position is responsibility for maintaining the financial records of the company by accurately recording the day-to-day financial transactions and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Alongside bookkeeping responsibilities, the role also includes assisting the Managing Director and external CFO where required, and assisting with head office functions. This role has room to grow, and we are seeking someone to grow with the company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record Financial Transactions: Keep accurate records of all daily transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Manage Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Process Payroll: Prepare and process employee payroll in a timely manner.
- Maintain Ledgers: Keep the company ledger updated, ensuring accuracy and validity of entries.
- Manage Accounts Receivable/Payable: Track and manage all accounts receivable and payable, including sending out invoices and managing collections.
- Compliance: Ensure financial operations comply with federal and state laws and company policies.

- Daily reconciliation of all bank feeds
- Preparation of head office inter-entity invoices
- Ledger maintenance and month-end reconciliations
- Maintain fixed asset registers
- Report preparation for management
- Preparation and lodgement of Activity Statements
- Assist with maintaining financial management and HRIS systems
- Assistance with payroll as required
- Assistance with stock management as required
- Other duties as required
Skills and Experience:
- Must be proficient with Xero and MS Office Suite and able to learn our other software programs used internally
- Previous demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Accounts Payable, Receivables, Bank Reconciliation experience
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, committed, and reliable
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain relationships
- Broad knowledge of financial procedures and policies
- Team player who enjoys working with and supporting others with a can-do attitude
- Professional, tactful, and discreet
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and/or Accounting
- Xero Certification
