Due to an internal promotion, we are searching for an Administration Assistant to join our Legal team, based in our Hamilton, Brisbane office, on a fixed term basis until 10 January 2025. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a range of administrative support to our team of Lawyers and Paralegals, across a wide variety of matters. Your typical responsibilities will include:
- Printing, collating, marking up, and e-signing contracts; contract review and checking.
- Monitoring inboxes and assisting with general legal inquiries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Creating and maintaining registers; entering data for record keeping, reporting, and analysis
- Closing, archiving, scanning, and saving completed documents
- Drafting correspondence and performing company searches
- Registering, varying, and discharging security interests
- Supporting the team and handling overflow store transaction work
We are open to full time or part time working arrangements for this position. If the position is offered on a part time basis, minimum required hours per week will be 22.6 hours, with flexibility on the structure of these hours.
About you.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in an Administration support role, ideally gain providing support to a legal team or lawyers.
- Highly refined written and verbal communication skills, coupled with outstanding attention to detail.
- Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Performance under pressure and in a fast-paced, high workload environment.
