OBJECTIVE: As a Bookkeeper/PA, you will report and support the Director with the management of the current business portfolio of clients which includes all bookkeeping and administration duties involved in allocated portfolio.
The ideal candidate will be switched on and have the ability to work unsupervised. They will also have some tax exposure within a small/medium sized business and have previously worked within a bookkeeping role. The successful candidate will be computer literate and have previously used similar systems to MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiSoft and Xero.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Entry;
- High volume invoice processing;
- Account Receivables;
- Liaising with clients in regard to invoices;
- Bank reconciliations;
- General office administration;
- Drafting and processing outward correspondence to the ATO;
- Monthly Bookkeeping for various small/medium businesses;
- General office administration and office management
- Creating job sheets
- Setting up new companies with ASIC;
- Action Cooperate Secretarial changes as required with ASIC;
- Setup of new clients (company & individual);
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Relevant qualifications within Business Commerce: Accountings /Finance/ Tax;
- Attention to detail & time management skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience using MYOB, QuickBooks, HandiSoft and Xero.
- Intermediate Excel Skills;
- Must be a critical thinker;
- A passion for service;
- Motivation to develop and grow within a fast-moving environment.

- Practice manager experience would be ideal but no a deal breaker
- A preference for consulting to your customers to build long term relationships, over a transactional one;
