About the role
Part of the Northeast Auto Group, Big Chief Hire supplies top-tier truck, earth-moving machinery, plant & equipment solutions. Our extensive clientele includes prominent private and government organizations. We exclusively maintain state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring regular servicing and comprehensive safety inspections to guarantee peak performance and security.
We are looking to welcome a new Branch Manager to the Ormeau team. This role will oversee all day-to-day operation on the Ormeau site, reporting directly to the State Manager. We are looking for someone that shares our passion for hire and heavy machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure the smooth function of equipment rentals
- Drive revenue growth and budget management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Lead and mentor a growing team
- Ensuring the Safety and Compliance to Business Standards
- Develop and Execute strategies that align with company objectives to expand on the current market and achieve sustainable growth.
About You
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably within the hire industry or related field (desirable)
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS office
- Familiarity with local market trends and customer needs(desirable)
