WesTrac is seeking an experienced leader for the position of Branch Manager - New Machines.
Reporting to the Regional Manager - Central Operations this position will be accountable for overseeing the financial and operational performance of the New Machines Workshop and providing leadership to a diverse team.
Servicing mining customers across NSW/ACT, the New Machines workshop operates 24/7 and has a growing team of over 100 employees consisting of trades people, trade assistants, admin support, project coordinators, apprentices and workshop supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee workshop operations
P&L control and monitoring of monthly sales and service targets
Develop and execute branch strategy to meet organisational goals
Provide support and leadership to your team with a values-based approach
Ensure safety and quality standards are upheld by fostering a safe, engaged and customer focused culture
Utilise data to forecast, measure and improve overall branch performance
Maintain customer relationships through exceptional stakeholder engagement and regular customer visits
Oversee invoicing, Work in Progress (WIP) and warranty claims and prepare reports on these as required
Ensure productivity and utilisation targets are met
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
Skills & Experience
Proven leadership capability
Demonstrated commercial acumen / experience in managing budgets and/or cost centres
Familiarity with Caterpillar (or similar) equipment and exposure to mining and/or machine manufacturing
Professional with outstanding communication skills
Highly developed commercial business acumen skills with the ability to successfully manage customer relationships, budgets, data analysis and compile reports
Ability to coach others for high performance and manage teams in changing environments
Tertiary qualifications in business and/ or mechanical trade background will be looked upon favourably
Experience in an operational role with proven ability to boost performance
