The Role

Are you passionate about innovation and looking for a challenging and rewarding career in our brand team? If so, you might be the perfect fit for our Brand Executive position at Imperial Brands.

An inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees. As aBrand Executiveyou will be responsible for effective tactical execution of key brand activity and campaigns to deliver the brand objectives and to drive the best consumer experience.

You will also work closely with sales, and trade staff to assist with conceptualising and helping execute campaigns and strategies that align with the brand's vision, mission, and objectives.

You will access and analyse consumer insights to identify commercial opportunities and innovation requirements, sharing these in a meaningful way with key decision makers. Support the Brand Managers in developing business cases and work closely with agency colleagues to provide direction, address questions and resolve issues on specific projects in order to deliver creative advantage over competitors.

Reporting to the Consumer Brand Manager, and work in supported team of Brand Executives and Brand Managers. Learn and be coached and mentored by the best brand managers within the organisation.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Support development of brand strategy to include brand positioning, commercial brand ambition and brand quality strategy.
  • Assist with creation of portfolio brand objectives, targets, equity & strategy within the Business.
  • Assess brand health & performance, barriers and opportunity based on consumer target.
  • Monitor and benchmark competitor activities, category trends and consumer habits, recommending plans and actions to capture opportunities.
  • Develops working relationships within the cluster and helps represent the team at meetings and cross functional projects. Leading on small brand projects.
  • Assists in Brand planning workshops, uses challenging, innovative and analytical thinking to recommend new activities & propositions that add value to the brand image.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Analytical, drive value and commercial results.
  • Microsoft Office proficient/advanced user (PPT and Excel).
  • Strong organisational, compliance and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and develop/ maintain relationships.
  • Lateral and creative thinking, takes initiatives and contribute to discussion.
