The Opportunity
We are excited to announce an enticing career opportunity for a talented Brand Manager to join our team (team of 25) to manage our Gloria Jeans Coffee brand across the Australian market. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, Gloria Jeans, and working closely with our International Team, the Brand Manager will be responsible for leading and developing insights into brand strategies and business plans to deliver brand and financial objectives that drive sustainable and profitable growth. You will be a customer-focused, adaptable, and commercially astute marketer whose mission will be to work with cross-functional teams and agencies to plan, execute, measure and improve brand campaigns, creating efficient and effective executions. You will also undertake all aspects of product portfolio life-cycle management, including bringing insight-driven and customer-led innovation to market to deliver future growth.
The key to your success in the role lies in your ability to thoroughly manage and grow an iconic brand, and the skill of enrolling and engaging key stakeholders to deliver to an agenda.
Key focus areas for this role:
- STRATEGY: You bring a consumer mindset, analytical thinking and an ability to leverage data-driven insights. Partner with key stakeholders to build comprehensive, commercial brand strategies across short/mid/long-term brand planning process.
- COMMERCIAL: Analyse in-market performance across our brand and competitors to make compelling, insight-driven recommendations. Ability to manage the P&L and marketing spend, delivering market share growth and ROI.
- CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT: You know how to work with a cross section of agencies to develop and execute marketing programs and campaigns with the highest quality execution.
- PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT AND INNOVATION: You have the ability to think big picture to drive portfolio prioritisation recommendations to deliver innovation and future growth.
- STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: You have the ability to inspire and engage others. Partner with our Operations Leadership to produce plans that support best-in-class franchise partner and customer engagement, sales and loyalty.
About you:
- 3+ years’ experience within a Brand Management function, preferably within the Retail, FMCG or Franchising industries.
- Proven experience developing and executing leading-edge brand activation plans, including digital, social media and consumer engagement and loyalty.
- Proven experience in product innovation development from concept to market.
- Proven experience managing projects across cross functional teams.
- Experience working with and interpreting data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Be a cross functional team player with strong communication and influencing skills that build and maintain productive internal and external relationships.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business or Commerce
