SalaryOur client, who is a federal agency who supports those with disability - is seeking a Budget Management Support Planner to join their team in Midland!
As an APS4 level Budget Management Support Planner, you will be a vital part of the Better Planning - Budget Management Support (BMS) team within the Scheme Reform and 3P Transition Branch. Reporting to the APS6 Team Leader, you will work within defined parameters, providing operational and administrative support. The role is accountable for undertaking moderately complex activities and tasks to achieve outcomes aligned with the agency's objectives of building a world-leading scheme.
Based in the Midland, this is a 12-month assignment paying $43.82 p/h + Super, with the possibility of extension. You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role.
About You:
We are looking for an adaptable and customer-focused individual who is committed to continuous learning. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing participant records to make funding decisions, reducing overspending.
- Engaging with participants and their representatives via telephone communication to understand current circumstances and spending patterns.
- Ensuring high-quality record-keeping, including IT systems competency, and adherence to guidelines.
- Researching and reviewing decisions, managing moderately complex cases, and contributing to key performance indicators.
- Performing administrative and data entry tasks related to participants.
- Utilizing strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Pre-Engagement Check - mandatory pre-employment security screening process, including a federal police check
