About the role/ Key responsibilities:
This is a Full-Time opportunity – 9am to 5pm, for a Building Code Consultant.
The successful applicant will assist the Director/Relevant Building Surveyor with:
Building Permit applications & Building Permit assessments (Class 1 and Class 10 buildings).
Prepare Building Permit documentation for Building Permit issue/approval.
Building Permit amendments
Inspection reports, including written directions.
Building Notices/Orders.
Assisting clients with technical queries.
Skills & Experience:
3 + years of residential plan checking experience, with experience in enforcement (notices/orders/written directions).
Demonstrated knowledge of the Building Act, Regulations, NCC, Australian Standards and other relevant legislation.
Efficient and can work independently.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to organise and prioritise own work.
Strong written and verbal communication.
