Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of a premier property? We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Building Manager to join our team at the Key Account Headquarters. In this pivotal role, you will partner with the BGIS Account Management Team to drive a memorable customer experience through direct engagement with tenants, owners, customers, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities

As a Building Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Engagement: Partner with the BGIS Account Management Team to enhance customer experiences at Key Account through direct interactions with tenants, owners, customers, and contractors.
  • Change Management: Lead change management processes and initiatives as directed by BGIS.
  • Administration and Reporting: Assist with the administration and reporting of the Key Account Headquarters, including performance reporting on KPIs, planned maintenance, corrective reporting, and Operations Centre reporting.
  • Building Management: Provide comprehensive building management, access, and supervision services for all contracted services (both Base Building and Key Account Headquarters tenancy).
  • Service Delivery: Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of all contracted FM and ancillary services in alignment with the Services Agreements.
  • Financial Management: Maintain financial performance and manage all associated spending in the delivery of FM and ancillary services.
  • Asset Management: Implement the BGIS Asset Management strategy in service delivery to the building.
  • Expense Reporting: Capture and report expenses for tenant-managed works within BGIS and client guidelines.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain professional relationships with all building tenants, the client, and the BGIS team.
  • Contractor Training: Provide relevant training inductions to contractors where necessary.
  • HSEQ Compliance: Ensure that all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) policies and procedures are met and maintained by all stakeholders.

Skills and Experience
 

  • Proven facilities management experience in a commercial/corporate environment, and in managing plant, equipment and large-scale maintenance activities
  • Trade qualification desirable such as mechanical / electrical, and post trade e.g. Engineering Certificate or Associate Diploma
  • Knowledge of building legislative and statutory requirements, environmental and sustainability factors and work health and safety elements
  • Extensive subcontractor procurement and management experience, proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications, and ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Able to respond quickly to change and adopt a flexible/ innovative approach to problems and opportunities.

Experience in an integrated services model delivering property, facilities, project and financial management services would be well regarded.
