What this opportunity involves:
We are looking for a Facilities Management professional who is seeking a new and exciting challenge to work in an iconic A Grade tower with a high performing team. This is a Parental Cover role on a fixed term until the end of December 2024.
As the Building Services Manager, you will be tasked with providing building and facilities management services and assisting the management team in contracts administration, compliance and contractor management services with a focus on client, tenants and stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the oversight of all hard services on site.
An Overview of the role:
- Manage contractor maintenance programs and ensure compliance and reporting requirements are met
- Ensure contractors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget, complying with all OH&S regulations
- Assist the Engineering and Operations Manager in preparation for audits such as conducting property inspections
- Oversee tenant movement into, out of and within the building
- Conduct fitout management tasks such as inspections, obtaining documentation
- Involvement in fulfilling reporting requirements in conjunction with Operations Management
- Maintain adherence to JLL business conduct, ensuring compliance with the firm’s guidelines, procedures and strategies
Sounds like you? This is what we are looking for:
- Prior experience in commercial property and facilities services management
- Knowledge of local OH&S requirements, critical facilities and vendor management
- Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Team player who contributes meaningfully to projects
- Goal oriented and focused on meeting performance targets
- Demonstrates flexibility and can handle concurrent complex issues
