About the Role:
Are you creative & do you have a passion for great design – We are looking for a Building Solutions Studio (BSS) Manager for our Castle Hill Studio.
Through leveraging your design credentials, you will help our customer’s and theirs to uncover the depth and breadth of solutions available from Bunnings to support a broad range of residential and commercial construction or property maintenance projects.
The Bunnings Building Solutions Studio is located at the Castle Hill, and this is a Monday to Friday role. Led by the National Building Solutions & Capabilities Manager, this role also collaborates with the National Building Solutions Studio team and State Sales teams, acting as the main point of contact to drive selection opportunities with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained throughout each stage of the process.
What's involved:
• Assist customers (and their customers) with product selections, partial and whole of build following through to conversion
• Assist the sales teams to close through proactive monitoring of leads/selections and focusing on conversion
• Onboard new customers with onsite tour and initial selections
• Arrange and conduct meetings, customer visits with architects, Interior designers, residential and multi residential builders, developers, and property facilitators
• Assist and attend trade/ industry functions within the BSS
• Engage in regular coaching and training, to continuously improve selling skills and product knowledge across the entire BSS offer and wider range
• Work in conjunction with other key stakeholders to develop and coordinate training for all teams in the BSS, it’s value proposition and the specific offers including features, benefits and overcoming objections
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers at both a national and local level with consideration to the BSS strategy
• Selections that both meet needs of customers and deliver profitable outcomes
• Understanding of the commercial strategy and how to implement them in the BSS
Who we’re looking for:
Our ideal candidate will have experience within a similar b2b customer facing and sales-oriented role, an individual that thrives on building and maintaining strong working relationships, shows professionalism with influencing, collaboration, and networking skills.
Key know how requires knowledge of basic Cad Drafting and the ability to read and interpret plan drawings and elevations with extensive knowledge and experience of Design fundamentals with a key focus on finishes and their application across interiors and exteriors. A strong understanding of technical design and its application including joinery specification and function would be advantageous.
You’ll need:
• Interior Design qualification preferable
• Building Design qualification preferable
• Sound Building knowledge, Building Codes, Commercial operating systems
• Comprehensive knowledge of Commercial and Construction law to support our outcomes
• Demonstrated Commercial acumen
• Planning, offer development, prioritising and process support
• Previous team leadership and coaching experience desirable
• Experience and enjoyment with solution selling
