In a newly created opportunity, CAMILLA is now seeking a dynamic Design Studio Manager to spearhead our creative journey. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate seamlessly across multiple departments, including Design, Creative, Merchandising, Product Development, Marketing & PR, Materials Development, and Sourcing. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding the end-to-end design process, ensuring that our vision is brought to life with unparalleled excellence.

On any given day, our Design Studio Manager will…

• Support the design process, lead communication, and support the creative vision across all categories and cross-functional partners, upholding design integrity while ensuring key milestones are met.
• Support the Design, Graphics, and Pattern Maker workflow, planning and implementing best approach to ensure collections are sampled in sufficient time for proto ranging, and that collections are delivered on time and in full.
• Ensure that all the conceptual creative output/visuals are consistent with both Brand and commercial outcomes in line with creative direction from the Creative Director and Head Designer.
• Agenda preparation and meeting facilitation for design meetings with creative director, in conjunction with fellow Designers.
• Champion new ideas agreed with the Creative Director that will drive the creative presence of the brand forward and manage end to end.
• Act as a gatekeeper, filtering all new design requests in order to maintain workload balance.
• Managing delivery of factory requests and innovations to ensure delivery in time with critical path requirements.
• Ensure design and fit feedback is provided is communicated to Design team.
• Management and creation of Critical Path for Design Team.

Our perfect new addition will possess the below:

• Completed a tertiary course in Fashion and/or Textiles
• 5-7 years of expertise in a similar industry.
• A global mindset and experience working with cross-functional partners.
• Demonstrated success in managing Design Studio/processes.
• Demonstrates a “hands-on” proactive approach.
• Thrives working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Be able to combine both creative and technical skills.
• Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
• Be exceptionally well organised and methodical.
• Computer skilled, particularly in Microsoft Office, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Strong and compelling communication style; ability to galvanise teams around a creative vision.
