Sales Executive - Building Supplies
Are you a hands-on Building Supply Sales Executive passionate about timber, hardware, and building products? Join our client, a leader in the industry for over 54 years! As a Timber and Hardware Sales Executive, you'll be instrumental in expanding our market presence in Perth, showcasing top-quality supplies to prospective new home builders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify and seize new business opportunities within the residential building sector
- Utilise your extensive network to establish connections with key decision-makers among the top 10-20 builders in Perth
- Present our comprehensive range of timber and hardware products effectively, emphasising their value proposition to potential clients
- Foster relationships with new and existing clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty, contributing to overall growth objectives
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales prospects, driving significant contribution to sales targets
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record as a Sales Representative or Account Manager in the building materials industry
- Established network and relationships with top residential builders in Perth
- In-depth knowledge of timber and hardware products, with the ability to communicate their features and benefits persuasively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate strong client relationships
- Results-driven with a self-motivated approach to achieving and exceeding sales targets
Requirements:
- Prior sales experience within the building materials sector is essential
- In-depth knowledge of the local building sector to foster connections and relationships with local builders
- Demonstrated success in business development and achieving sales growth
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient IT skills for streamlined communication and reporting
