About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, efficient and enthusiastic Business Administration Trainee to join us on a fixed-term 12-month contract. This is a great entry level opportunity for someone looking to kick start their career in Business Administration.
The keys to success in this position are to be proactive, self-driven, managing time effectively, and commitment to developing skills with training and personal development. You will be a dedicated yet energetic team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills. You will have a strong focus on Customer Service, Teamwork and outstanding attention to detail.
You will be responsible for:
- Providing ongoing support and collaboration with the Corporate Administration Team
- Sort and deliver incoming mail to the Village
- Prepare all outgoing mail
- Provide Reception relief – Greet and handle Customers’ enquiries via phone, email and face to face in a friendly yet professional manner
- Assisting Accounts Payable with entry of invoices into Finance System
- Manage and co-ordinate all office stationary supplies and staff uniforms
- As your experience progresses, you will be provided opportunities to gain experience in a wide variety of other duties
About you:
- Willingness to enroll and complete a Certificate III Business Traineeship
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently and as a team
- Positive and enthusiastic “can do” attitude as well as displaying initiative and a strong work ethic
- Effective time management and organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads, multitask
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated computer literacy
- Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service, maintain confidentiality & demonstrate the highest level of integrity
