The position is responsible for supporting the review and development of new and existing business processes, through the elicitation and documentation of business requirements, design validation and the implementation of solutions, in order to increase and improve organisational efficiency and productivity. This includes Platform review and continuous improvement of Platform processes and procedures.
Duties will also include assisting in the implementation of new software, solution design, management of small to medium sized projects, testing and stakeholder management.
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with business-units to identify and undertake analysis for business and system requirements for new deliverables.
- Collaborating with the platform team to identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
- Conducting workshops with stakeholders and SMEs to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
- Working with solution architects to develop solution options that meet functional and non-functional expectations.
- Supporting the Change team in preparing procedures, user-guides, and broader communications
- Participating in UAT and PVT activities to verify deliverable readiness.
- Running backlog grooming and planning sessions within the platform team.
- Collaborating with Business Analysts in other teams to coordinate the platform team's dependencies.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to cultivate and strengthen relationships.
- Working with applications related to Finance/ERP/CRM/Insurance domains.
- Strong understanding of IT systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of business analysis techniques, waterfall and agile project or development methodologies, change management techniques and process improvement methodologies.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 and Office Apps including Excel, Project, Visio and Word or other related processing packages.
- Demonstrated strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated strong problem management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure.
- 5+ years in a similar role, directly contributing to the delivery of modern transactional Finance/ERP/CRM/Insurance systems.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate between business and technical terminology.
- Fluent in using JIRA to manage a product/project backlog/board.
- Good understanding of SQL and data analysis.
- Experience with Epicor ERP or SSP Pure platform is a plus.
- Experience working within a cross-functional DevSecOps team is highly regarded.
- Project management coordination skills.
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in a technical, IT or business-related discipline.
