The Role

As the Brisbane CBD-based Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in shaping Mayur’s strategic direction. Your expertise in business analysis and mining operations will be critical to your success. If you do not have recent mining experience your application will not be progressed for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, including greenfield projects and potential mergers and acquisitions.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify growth opportunities, assess risks, and create actionable plans.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, commodity prices, and regulatory changes that impact our business.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with investors, government bodies, and industry partners.
• Risk Management: Analyze financial risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Treasury Operations: Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the mining sector.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, project economics, and valuation techniques.
• Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, specialized mining software).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex financial information to stakeholders.
