As Business Analyst, you will play a key role in facilitating successful change initiatives by evaluating and developing business strategies and models to improve efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
Working closely with all Suncare departments, you will actively contribute to the development of initiatives and strategies to optimise operational efficiencies, refine processes and reporting mechanisms, and ensure the timely and effective implementation of high-quality deliverables.
This role may suit a junior Business Analyst or a new Business / IT / Data Science graduate keen to build great leadership skills and develop their technical capacity. You must exhibit initiative and a passion for supporting businesses through change and be driven to develop a career as a well-rounded Business Analyst.
The role will require you to work from our head office in Maroochydore on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Business Operations Manager you will:
- Cultivate an innovative culture, emphasizing digital, data, and operational best practices.
- Drive a commitment to continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, refining outcomes, and implementing changes.
- Conduct workshops, interviews and focus groups with key stakeholders to elicit business processes, translating them into actionable insights for improvement.
- Analyse and report on productivity issues/opportunities using gap analysis and data analysis. Competently utilise this to identify and support change.
- In collaboration with Business Operations Manager, design reporting tools (dashboards, queries, reports etc.) to clearly articulate trends, indicators or data quality issues and collaborate with stakeholders to adopt these effectively.
- Define measurable outcomes for change initiatives and assess effectiveness using data-driven insights.
- Support development of 'to-be' business processes, design appropriate strategies to engage and implement innovative approaches to adoption of this change
- Utilise case management system expertise for process improvement and capability maximization.
- Develop change management strategies and communication plans in consultation with the Business Operations Manager, including quality communication materials for change initiatives.
- Work in collaboration with the Business Operations Manager and GM ICT, to ensure Suncare’s Data Governance Framework complies with quality standards and regulations.
- Maintain compliance with best practice change management tools, templates, and methodologies.
- Support management reporting and contribute to project quality reviews and risk assessments.
What you will bring to our team:
- Proven experience (1+ years) in Business Analyst role and expertise in the successful delivery of Business, Data and Technology projects or recent Graduate / final year student in Business / IT / Data Science with relevant placement experience
- Data focussed with a sound understanding and experience in business process model design, data interfacing, data warehousing and data management projects
- Proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel, SQL, LookML
- Clear understanding of data relationship modelling, data warehouses and dashboard design
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of data management (quality, standards, governance, provenance)
- Delivery focused individual with strong business, data and technology skills and full systems life cycle project implementation experience.
- Ability to clearly articulate and deliver user functional and non-functional requirements via workshops, BPMN, user stories, specifications and other tools as deemed appropriate for the initiative.
- Experience in the development of test cases and test suites to support regression, integration, systems and user acceptance testing
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems systematically, assess complex situations and make data-driven decisions
- Proficient, detail-orientated and able to demonstrate resilience and calm in high-pressure and dynamic situations
- Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Undergraduate qualifications in Business, IT or Data Science
