About the Building Commission NSW

The new Building Commission NSW has been established after the NSW Government recognised the substantial progress made by Fair Trading and the Office of the Building Commissioner in delivering once-in-a-generation reforms of the building and construction industry. The new commission will not only be the industry regulator, but also a collaborator with consumers and industry to ensure standards, capabilities, capacity and resilience continue to be lifted across the sector to deliver quality homes and meet the state's housing targets.

Responsibilities include:

- Support the identification, analysis and documentation of business processes, systems and other functional requirements to support the development of digital products and service improvements.
- Build effective relationships with stakeholders and users to understand and analyse business problems.
- Work with stakeholders, solution architects, and project leaders to provide relevant business solutions ensuring proper communication of business requirements to IT solution requirements.
- Provide support to Senior Business Analysts and the team in the development of digital solutions.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in supporting business analysis (digital) and working on multiple projects in agile and waterfall project environments.
- Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- An ability to think innovatively and support the development of solutions fit for purpose.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly to a range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and balance competing needs.
- Understanding of CRM systems eg. Pega, Salesforce is beneficial.

Salary Clerk Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $106,025 base plus superannuation
