The Opportunity: Join an award winning ASX Listed Financial Service Organisation as a Business Analyst where you’ll have the opportunity to work across complex financial / lending / leasing applications and systems projects as well as Web Online and ‘self-service’ Digital projects. This is a parental leave cover role, offering a 12-month max term contract paying an annual salary with lots of perks and benefits.
As a Functional Business Analyst you will be: analysing business processes, identifying alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommending new approaches across the organisation.
Your responsibilities may involve:
- Investigate, analyse, review and document business goals, objectives, functions and processes
- Create specifications and acceptance criteria for the deployment of information and finance systems.
- Adopt and adapt business analysis approaches
- Elicit, analyse, specify and validate requirements and constraints relating to software, systems, processes, products and services.
- Manage requirements throughout the delivery and operational life cycle of the software, system, processes, products or services.
- Identify and implement improvements to business operations, services and models
- Minimum 3 years Business Analysis experience
- Ability to scope definition, Business Requirements, User Stories, processes, data, traceability and acceptance criteria
- Agile and Waterfall methodologies experience
- Experience working in finance / lending / accounting related projects OR experience working on web online mobile and digital projects is a bonus (but not required)
- Degree in Computer Science, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience
**Successful candidates must be able to pass a national police history check and provide two professional reference checks
