Business Analyst - Fujitsu
About the role
We are looking for a Graduate Business Analysts support the business analysis activities within the organization. Graduate Business Analysts work closely with senior Business Analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, identify process improvements, and assist in the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
About you
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- knowledge: Possesses foundational knowledge of business analysis methodologies, frameworks, and best practices. Demonstrates a basic understanding of industry / domain / project knowledge.
- Project/Client Experience: Is involved in business analysis activities on projects, working under the guidance of more senior Business Analysts to gain knowledge and experience with collaborating with stakeholders, defining project scope, and driving successful outcomes.
- Facilitation: Capable of facilitating small workshops or interviews with subject matter experts (SMEs) from diverse business and technology teams to effectively gather solution requirements.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, and accurately document business requirements. Conduct interviews, workshops, and research to gather information effectively. Assist in translating business needs into clear and concise functional specifications, user stories, and system requirements.
- Process Mapping and Optimization: Participate in process mapping exercises to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Work closely with cross-functional teams to suggest process enhancements that increase efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Assist in analyzing data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Support senior analysts in conducting data modeling, data validation, and data visualization activities to provide valuable business insights.
- Documentation and Reporting: Assist in preparing clear and concise documentation, including functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. Contribute to the creation of reports, presentations, and other project deliverables as needed.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, team members, and end-users to ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Participate in meetings, provide updates, and address any concerns or queries promptly.
- Project Support: Support senior Business Analysts in managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Assist in coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to project plans.
Requirements:
- Zero to three years proven experience as a Business Analyst (or similar role).
- Possess awareness with multiple project methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile delivery.
- Good understanding of SDLC activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Awareness of business analysis techniques, tools, and methodologies.
- Awareness of process mapping, requirements gathering, and solution design.
- Awareness of data analysis, and data modeling.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and an awareness of a range of Business Analysis tools to support analysis, documentation, and collaboration activities.
- Certification(s) in business analysis (e.g., ECBA) is a plus
