Business Analyst - Infrastructure

As the Business Analyst, Projects you will be responsible for analysing business processes, gathering and
documenting requirements, and providing valuable insights to support the successful implementation of
projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a
thorough understanding of project management methodologies.

This is a 12 months fixed term role.

Description

Responsibilities Include:

* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project objectives and requirements, and translate them into clear and concise business requirements documentation.
* Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization.
* Facilitate workshops and meetings with key stakeholders to elicit and document business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
* Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including business requirement documents, process flows, and user stories, to ensure clear communication and understanding among project teams.
* Work closely with the project manager and cross-functional teams to ensure that project deliverables align with business objectives and requirements.
* Analyse and interpret data to provide insights and recommendations that support informed decision[1]making and drive project success.

Profile

Role requirements:

* Solid understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and their application to business analysis processes.
* Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable insights and recommendations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and team members.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work within established timelines and project constraints.
* Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
* Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) are desirable but not required.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in project management or IT project environments.

Candidates will be required to complete a national police check.
