Business Applications Specialist

Business Applications Specialist | 12 Month Contract | Brisbane, QLD
I'm partnered with an energy company to find an Applications Specialist for a 12 month contract with possibility of extension.
The Role

• Manage applications budgets which includes the establishment of budgets, the management of budgets, the creation of PRs and the entry of invoices.
• Oversee support processes for Business Applications and ensure documentation and knowledge articles are available
• Work closely with Business Partners to implement and support value-add technology and application solutions
• Work with Vendor Partners to ensure support mechanisms are in place to achieve timely triage and resolution of issues
• Develop and manage application portfolios for each Business Unit and develop application service level agreements
• Ensure all application details are fully documented in the CMDB and ensure application lifecycles are managed.
• Perform regular reviews of software solutions, including services such as Sharepoint and Teams to ensure they meet the changing needs of the business.
• Explore value-add opportunities across the application portfolio such as new application features, deployment options, and ways of working, to ensure we deliver value from existing solutions

About You
You are someone with:

• Five years relevant experience in a similar role
• Application support leadership and delivery within similar industries
• Fast-paced environments with competing priorities
• Management of integration platforms
• Application solution architecture
• Maintain application and system documentation
• Release management of application enhancements
• Management of a number of support vendors to deliver to SLAs and stated outcomes;
• Architecting and designing solutions within the context of an SAP / ERP environment with other integrated solutions.
• Participating in Solution Design or Solution Review Group
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and data analytics systems for integration needs
