AddressWe have an excellent opportunity for a Business Architect is to provide high-level design direction to technology delivery through comprehensive knowledge & understanding of both the Metcash Business and Best Practice Industry processes. These senior roles are a critical interface between Metcash IT and our Business Pillars, accountable for defining & applying consistent design frameworks and common solutions to shape delivery of key strategic technology initiatives to support our Customer & Business needs.

What you’ll do
- Maintain a Customer-centric perspective that informs all business solutions & designs
- Provide thought-leadership to the prioritisation and definition of business solutions
- Utilise knowledge of industry trends, capability and innovation to define and deliver Business Capability roadmaps/vision and change
- Lead investigation & discussion around options-analysis for solving complex business challenges
- Ensure integrity of solution designs and delivery process in meeting business objectives
- Conceptual definition of value chain and process architecture, business functions/structure, information, and technology
- Apply design frameworks & common solutions across technology initiatives
What you’ll bring
- Extensive experience, in Business Analysis / Solution Design / IT Architecture / Leadership roles
- Current knowledge of industry trends, best practice, capability and innovation with an ability to effectively utilise this knowledge – working proactively with business units to define and deliver roadmap/vision and change
- Collaborative and consultative – comfortable working in a matrix agile environment
- Proven experience in the application of technology solutions to business problems in large, complex organisations
- Applied experience in business analysis and Business Architecture at enterprise level
- Exceptional skills in building and managing relationships with business at all levels
- Sound understanding of a Retail / Wholesale / FMCG / Supply Chain environment
