What will you contribute?
The Business Architect for the APAC region is responsible for defining new business models, value propositions and construct optimal opportunities. The Business Architect will collaborate with existing Banking customers and non-Financial Institutions, including hyperscalers, telecommunication institutions, consulting firms and fintech associations, in order to reproduce additional new customers per initiative and bigger opportunities. Exploring new opportunities and partnerships in the ecosystem across all market segments. The role will be focussed on banking, capital markets, retail, trade finance, cash management, treasury and risk systems solutions to drive new bookings and accelerate growth and adoption of our FusionFabric.Cloud platform. This role will work closely with the Global Field Operations team, the Product Management team, Partners team and the rest of the Global Solutions Consulting team within the region to drive revenue metrics. The successful incumbent will strive to make Finastra a destination for our customers and partners by utilizing our products and services as part of their landscape and ecosystem.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Your deliverables will include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Defining new business models, value propositions and construct optimal opportunities.
- Collaborate with Banks and non-Financial Institutions, including hyperscalers, telecommunication institutions, consulting firms and fintech associations in order to reproduce additional new customers per initiative and bigger opportunities.
- Partner in the strategic planning process by providing input to the scope definition of strategic initiatives leveraging capabilities, dependencies and opportunities.
- Work closely with solution and technical architects to deliver Business Architecture artefacts needed for end-to-end business and solution architecture deliverables.
- Actively work between the business and technical disciplines to industrialize the best ideas with new operating models and solutions.
- Strategizing best ways to close Original Equipment Manufacturing and source code deals
- Promote collaborative "Banking as a Service" offerings.
- Apply strategic and business thinking in order to define practical solutions that align with our customers corporate strategy.
- Work with multiple capability and functional teams to gather and document the structure of our customers business and technology landscape.
- Identify potential of partnership and develop actionable implementation plans that enable Finastra to accelerate growth.
- Ensure there are value for Finastra, our non-financial institutions, our customers and its partners by enabling them to act as an extension of Finastra's own sales, services and product teams.
- Support business and solution planning with strategic partners.
- Looking for ways to extend Finastra's footprint to corporates.
- Supporting OEM leads in the region.
- Personally, develop and maintain meaningful relationships with our customers. These can include partners, financial and non-financial institutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Superior strategic planning, solutioning, initiative execution and management skills
- A good understanding of banking, capital markets, retail, trade finance, cash management, treasury and risk systems environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Highly experienced Business, System and Integration Analysis
- Exceptional organisational and problem solving skills
- Proven ability with management of complex Program Scheduling, Financial and Resource Management, and Deliverable Management
- Considerable experience in governance and leadership to drive delivery outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to influence and drive a strategic agenda
- High-level ability to collaborate and lead by influence but ability to be hands-on and be in the details.
- Ability to work independently and successfully in a matrixed environment.
- Experience working within Financial Services Technology and markets is essential
- Results driven personality, able to maintain strategic business focus and ability to operate at C-Level within the region.
- Ability to effectively define, plan, schedule and control projects. Ability to prioritize in a complex, multi-tasking environment.
- Collaborates effectively with others to achieve goals and to drive results.
- High levels of energy, resilience and emotional intelligence.
