The Opportunity 

As the Business Coordinator you will assist the Head of Genesis and the department heads, to coordinate among all departments/functions within Genesis Motors Australia (GMAu) and supporting functions of Hyundai Motor Company Australia to the GMAu business. In addition, this role will be responsible for the general administrative tasks of the GMAu Division. 

About the Role 

  • Coordinate among all GMAu department Heads for regular business reporting and key projects and tasks
  • Coordinate with all HMCA supporting functions to the GMAu business to ensure full alignment of business status and understanding ensuring high operational efficiency
  • Assist in tracking Genesis operating expenses and capital expense budgets and transfers
  • Assist with the development of strategy papers requiring the 6 signature process
  • Raise and issue Purchase Orders, and process invoices for the Genesis division
  • Support sales department regular administrative and adhoc tasks, including company fleet toll accounts/infringments, vehicle registrations, and other tasks as and when required 
  • Attend to adhoc projects and tasks as directed by Head of Genesis
  • Allocation of daily banking transactions
  • Approval of customer refund forms
  • Raise SAP invoices as required
  • Support training manager through travel itinerary administration, venue and catering bookings for face-to-face training courses.

About You 

Passionate > You have an interest in the automotive industry and a desire to work and learn across multiple business units within a corporate environment. 

Organised > You are highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. You have great time management skills and experience with MS Office. 

Team-player > You thrive in a team environment and aren’t afraid to take initiative to help colleagues when needed. 

Automotive experience is desirable but not required.
