Business Development Associate (Japanese)

SMAART Recruitment is thrilled to continue our partnership with one of the world’s leading Contractor Management Software companies. Due to expansion in the APAC region, they now seek the services of an experienced and driven Senior Business Development Associate who wants to progress their career in Account Management and Business Development within software and consulting.
Based in the heart of Sydney CBD, as a BD Associate, you will support clients and customers in English and Japanese, with enquiries about their accounts. You will assist with new supplier onboarding and outreach, prospecting of new business, account management and client/customer care. In short, you provide a critical link between customers, sales, account management and Business Development.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Proactively service and support contractor/supplier clients.
• Conduct regular client meetings and product training via phone, web-based and face-to-face meetings.
• Participate in sales and marketing projects and prospecting efforts
• Field incoming calls, handle contractor customer enquiries, and troubleshoot problems.
• Handle client account management functions, including invoicing and collections, account expansion and client outreach.
• Proactively analyse customer service processes and account progress and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement.

To be considered for this position:

• Bilingual (written and verbal) in English and Japanese.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience.
• Relevant experience in account management, sales and/or customer service.
• Proficient computer skills in MS Office, internet and e-mail applications.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving ability.
