The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Executive to join our Business Development team. In this role you will be part of a team responsible for providing support on Business Development and marketing initiatives. More specifically, your role will include:
- preparing tenders and capability statements;
- assisting with the preparation of directories and award submissions;
- executing on practice group and sponsored events including webinars;
- preparing and distributing electronic newsletters and client alerts;
- drafting and updating relevant sections of the firm's intranet and website; including practice group descriptions, highlight deals and lawyer bios/CVs;
- participating in team projects as requested; and
- supporting the Business Development Manager in proactively winning new clients and driving the strategic direction of the practice group.
About You
To be successful, you will have experience in a similar role, or as an establish Business Development coordinator looking to take that next step in your career. Experience working within a legal, corporate or professional services environment is desirable. In addition, you will be/have:
- experience contributing to the drafting and preparation of tenders and pitches;
- strong drafting and communication skills;
- strong project coordination skills;
- a high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office;
- attention to detail;
- an understanding of the fundamental principles of marketing;
- an ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines;
- an ability to work autonomously as well as in a collaborative team environment; and
- initiative, energy and enthusiasm to contribute to your own development and the development of the firm.
