They are currently seeking an on/off-premise Business Development Executive within the Sydney Metro area to join their Sales Team.
About the Role
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the prime focus of this role is to sell and service existing customer accounts and selected new target accounts, maximising the performance of brand sales, portfolio profitability and brand equity. The BDM will plan, schedule and manage their selling time for maximum sales productivity and develop personalised presentations to meet individual sales situations.
About You
- You have experience in Sales and Account Management with a sound understanding of call cycles, territory planning and the ability to foster and grow business relationships to achieve sales targets
- You have carefully honed observation, listening and questioning skills which allow you to design personalised product recommendations
- You are highly motivated to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- You are organised, with the ability to set and action priorities to meet deadlines
- You are well-presented and a natural communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills
- You are tech-savvy and feel at ease using a sales CRM, understanding the importance of maintaining territory and customer records
- You are a keen learner, always seeking greater industry and product knowledge
- You have a current driver’s licence and excellent driving record
- Alcohol sales experience is preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct territory analysis to determine customer calls and prepare journey plans
- Follow an 8-step process to achieve sales targets
- Improve business opportunities via measured deal structures
- Conduct promotions in key venues in line with marketing activity timelines
- Establish, develop and maintain strong customer relationships with new and existing customers
- Look for merchandising and product positioning opportunities
- Utilise the CRM and other in-house tools for effective productivity management
- Resolve customer concerns to achieve customer satisfaction
What You Will Need to Succeed
- Your ability to demonstrate your previous sales and account management experience is a must to be considered for this role
- Experience in alcohol sales or the liquor industry
- Your highly honed interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to create and foster trusted relationships, which will allow you to achieve your sales targets
