We're looking for an energetic Business Development Executive to join our team, with experience managing current client relationships, as well as acquiring new clients with the applicable skills to perform a 50/50 split of duties across current clients and new business. Someone who will not be afraid of a fast-paced, customer-focused field sales and relationship management role.
As a Business Development Executive, you will work with our current customers to ensure a positive and happy relationship. In order to do this effectively you must maintain in-depth industry knowledge including marketplace conditions, and competitor positioning in your geographic area. Each month you will own a new leads quota in both the commercial cleaning and hospitality space. You will also be expected to set and keep fortnightly check-ins with all the existing clients in your region, passing on any relevant information to the operations team that will ensure the desired quality of service.
What you'll be doing:- Be an expert in the industry, our service, and our clients
- Carry out a full sales cycle which includes identifying and developing leads, setting up meetings with your clients, creating value propositions, structuring financial deals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals
- Close business consistently - Grasp growth and go above quota
- Conducting conversion rate-driven discovery meetings and visits with customers to identify pain points to be worked on by our operations team.
- Successfully running and conducting in-person sales calls.
- Maintaining up-to-date records within CRM solution
- Processing sales quotes and orders in an accurate manner
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Proven experience in a commercial sales role (with outbound cold calling, sales calls, closing/quota carrying experience)
- Familiarity and proficiency with full lifecycle sales process management
- Ability to generate leads and utilise their network to drive new business
- Understanding of solution-based sales in a face-to-face and phone based environment
- Ability to do your job in a truly flexible environment;
