After steady growth over the past ten years, they are investing further and continuing to grow the Food Service division. As a result of these growth plans, a great opportunity has become available for a BDM/Key Account Manager to manage their Foodservice/Wholesale channel.
The Role:
Reporting directly to the State Sales/Operations Manager, the BDM/Key Account Manager will enhance key relationships with End-Users & Wholesalers while looking to develop new business. Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage key relationships with End-Users & wholesalers.
- Develop and implement short and long-term strategies and joint business plans.
- Review your market and communicate trends, developments, and new strategy ideas to the wider business.
- Work closely with internal operations teams to ensure consistent delivery and service to the customer.
- Strong Account Management experience within the Foodservice channel
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to generate sales with maximum margin.
- Experience working for a food manufacturer in protein or strong foodservice background is favorable.
- Great commercial acumen and experience managing key end-users/wholesalers.
- Excellent relationship and influencing skills.
- High energy and highly motivated to be out seeing your customers – very autonomous role.
