JOB PURPOSE
As a Business Development Manager (BDM) you will drive growth within Gold Tiger Logistics Solutions and solidify our market position. This role requires an individual who can identify opportunities, negotiate, build customer relationships, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions within Industry sectors.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify new business opportunities.
- Canvass businesses geographically and via selected Industry sectors.
- Prepare quotations and presentations to the prospective client
- Liaise with staff, industry associations, and government bodies to ensure opportunities are identified and pursued.
- Manage a select customer base.
SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of the palletised Transport Industry.
- Ability to work to a sales Target and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail, excellent time management, word and excel skills.
- Strong analytical skills, Sales skills, sound literacy and numeracy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Clear understanding of Transport and Warehouse Logistics.
- Minimum 3 years in a New Business Sales role (Palletised freight movements).
- A Hunter, focusing on gaining new business.
