True Foods, home of Simson’s Pantry, is on the search for a Business Development Executive – Foodservice ready to relish in the challenge of increasing sales and distribution gaps in our sales account for Victoria, Tasmania and Western Australia within our Foodservice Sales team.
You’ll be driven to achieve your annual sales budget targets, whilst efficiently and effectively managing your sales territory with end user customers (Cafes, Restaurants, takeaway outlets, etc..) and distributors (such as the likes of Bidfood, PFD, and independents). Your finger will also be on the pulse when it comes to marketing intelligence and growing market share through brand awareness across all Food Service channels.
More about you
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within Foodservice
- You’re making a name in the sales space with a growing track record in delivering results
- Foodservice or Food industry experience is highly advantageous and will be well-regarded
- Your communication and influencing skills are second to none, both energetic and engaging with a strong commercial focus
- Understanding of manufacturing (preferably food manufacturing) operations and supply chain will be highly desirable
- Thanks to your strong business acumen, you have a thorough understanding of sales, negotiation, planning, time management & financial principals
- You are also a BIG ‘people person’, engaging with clients and collaborating with your customer base comes easy
