The Opportunity:
We have a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced, highly motivated and passionate coffee industry professional to join our business. Reporting to the General Manager, your primary role as a Business Development Manager is to acquire and generate new business, whilst retaining and maintaining existing accounts.
Key Responsibility:
As the Business Development Manager , you will:
- Build and retain strong customer relationships with existing customers, whilst developing new lasting customer relationships
- Achieve sales targets through networking within current and new customer base
- Use all customer interactions as an opportunity to identify and maximise growth opportunities
- Develop strong industry knowledge
- Provide high levels of customer service combined with a sales opportunity attitude
The right person will have:
- Previous experience and knowledge in the coffee industry – Essential
- Demonstrated experience and success in Business Development
- Demonstrated experience to acquire profitable prospective business
- Strong existing industry network
- Prior experience and understanding of operational and key account management
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build strong and lasting relationships
- Positive and resilient with a can-do attitude
- Strong ability to negotiate, influence and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Be a motivated and driven coffee enthusiast with a creative flare and committed to providing a radical customer experience for coffee
- Proficiency in decision making, while juggling with multiple prioritise in a proactive and organised manner.
